Dear Friend,

As long as we live, we’ll never forget Covid-19 and the impact it made on our world. But among all the tragedies surrounding the pandemic, one near and dear to our hearts hasn’t been given nearly the spotlight it deserves:

The spike in domestic abuse.

Last year, Phoenix saw a horrifying 16% rise in domestic abuse cases. Isolated from friends, family, and traditional forms of help, hundreds of women suffered in silence, others lost their lives. We need your help to send a clear message – there is help, there is safety, there is hope – ready and waiting at Hope Women’s Center.

This Arizona Gives Day, our goal is to raise $15,000 to slip an arm of support, intervention, and love around each victim who walks through our doors – through our Hope Restores program.

Starting March 16th, help us give safety and stability to a domestic violence survivor in need!

Our Hope Restores program is designed to break cycles of abuse, leave sexual violence and/or trafficking, and begin the path to recovery. Arizona Gives Day is a time for our state to unite in generosity and care for those in need in our community.

Let’s combine the cause and give that precious gift to women in need this Arizona Gives Day!
Offering help and hope,
Tammy Abernelthy
