We are thrilled to announce Hope Women’s Center of Phoenix and Abide of Camp Verde are joining organizations, combining complementary strengths and shared vision to expand services to women and teen girls in Arizona. Now six centers will engage, encourage and equip women and girls experiencing domestic or intimate partner violence, homelessness, unemployment, substance use disorder, sexual abuse, unplanned pregnancy, grief, mental health issues, and other difficult life situations. We look forward to all God has in store for us as we extend help and hope to women and their families.

Tammy Abernethy, CEO of Hope Women’s Center, will serve as CEO of all six centers, bringing her enthusiasm, energy and passion to the overall organization. Michele Evans, current CEO of Abide, will transition her role to serve on Hope Women's Center’s Board. HWC staff is excited to welcome Abide staff onto their team.

The heart of both Hope Women’s Center and Abide is partnerships and transformation. Hope Women’s Center’s mission is primarily delivered by the faithful service of volunteers and is sustained by the generous giving of individuals, churches, businesses and community organizations. Additional volunteers, financial partners and community partnerships are invited to join the work of HWC in Phoenix, Apache Junction, Coolidge, West Valley, Maricopa, and now, Camp Verde. We hope you’ll partner with us in serving our women and transforming our communities.

Sincerely,
The Boards of Hope Women’s Center & Abide Maternity Home
