Empowering Women: Hope Women’s Center’s Record Year
Last year, more than 2,200 women and teen girls walked through the doors of Hope Women’s Center – the highest number in our 40-year history and a 29% increase from 2023. Each story of hope, healing, and transformation is a reminder that your partnership is crucial in reaching more women throughout Arizona.
Client D’s Journey: From Challenges to Triumph
When Client D first came to Hope, she had many obstacles to overcome after spending time in jail. She dreamed of independence like having her own place to live and transportation. “I want to be independent, and I want to be a good person,” she said. She started with our Hope Equips and later joined our one-on-one mentoring program. Client D began to see her self-worth and value despite many ups and downs.
When we launched our Hope at Work program, she was the first to enroll, and on graduation day, she proudly shared, “I have never graduated from anything! I’m so proud of myself!” Her hard work paid off. She recently had her legal charges dismissed, secured her own apartment, and purchased her first car. She even celebrated receiving her first utility bill. “I just can’t believe God has been so good to me! I thank Him every minute of every day,” she said, with gratitude and hope.
Looking Ahead: Expanding Hope on the Road in 2025

With 20+ new sites on our wait list, our Hope on the Road program will bring critical resources and trauma informed care directly to more women and teen girls. By expanding our mobile program, we will continue meeting her where she is, ensuring she feels seen, supported, and empowered for a strong future.
